High Wire & A Heart of Gold is the second album from San Francisco-based Halstead. This collection of songs feature pop elements infused into the folk-rock background of singer Ryan Auffenberg’s previous solo albums. The result is a beautiful combination of big alt-pop hooks, strong folk rock musicianship, and delicate sincerity.
