VH1 and Universal Music Group’s Republic Records are partnering to “Make A Band Famous” by organizing a 24-hour live-stream event from Brooklyn, starting June 11th at 8:00PM EST on VH1.com and the VH1 App.
Effective immediately, VH1 and Republic Records are asking all unsigned artists to submit a 15 second video clip of an original, unpublished song on Instagram using the hashtag #MABF as well as the band’s name with a hashtag (#YourBandName). All entries will be accepted until Thursday, May 15th and all entries will be viewable at MakeABandFamous,VH1.com and MABF.VH1.com.
