Closer

I’d spent a couple of weeks in the studio and was really missing my son. Closer is a reflection of my search for a balance between searching for the future and appreciating the present.

Satellite

‘Satellite’ is a bit of a fictional story of lost love; I just got hooked on that one word and the song sprouted from there.

When The Darkness Comes

This one is fictional too – I’m singing from the point of view of a guy that is so hung up on somebody that he can’t sleep; he’s delirious and feels the need to run round the streets at night.

We Were Raised Under Grey Skies

This one is personal to me. It’s mainly based on the relationship I have with my mother.
