NYC based singer/songwriter Corey Lewin is a George Washington University grad who was working in politics when his true passion came calling. He made a complete 360 and lucky for us starting pursuing music on a whole new level.
With just an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal he delivers an upbeat, catchy acoustic pop-rock sound for fans, “Smile and Wave” is one of those tracks and it is premiering exclusively here on GroundSounds, Corey had this to say about his new single:
“‘Smile and Wave’ is about that familiar feeling you get when you first see someone who piques your interest. It’s seeing someone you hope notices you in a coffee shop or sharing a quick glance with a stranger on the street. It’s that moment when we don’t know what’s going to happen next and we let ourselves imagine running off into the night with them on some wild adventure.”
