Today we’re excited to deliver a message from talented New Jersey artist Amanda Lyons. We are streaming her new song “Plastik” below and are eager to see the reaction it gets. Her music has been described as “epic female pop” and we think that is represented perfectly with “Plastik.” In her own words:

I wanted to add deep meaning and a message in “Do we have to live and die in a pure plastic world?” The lyrics are strong, but I wanted the music and tone to still be uplifting and hopeful – even dance-y. It makes you think why our culture is obsessed with being on our phones all the time and/or are obsessed with botox and shallow, materialistic goals. The song illustrates a downward spiral if we don’t ‘WAKE UP’ as a society.

Listen to the track below and be sure to follow Amanda online for more as she releases new music and updates!
