New Orleans based multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer Cole Williams is gearing up for the release of her fourth solo studio album, ‘Sin City – The Mixtape.’ Entirely composed, produced, arranged, and written by the artist herself, the LP explores composition, texture and storytelling as she covers the dichotomies of life, featured on the project and premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the fresh new track “Single Black Femelle.”

Cole had this to say about her latest mixtape and single:

Sin City is my testimony to the woman I was when I started the writing process of this album, and the woman I am now that I have delved deeper into my voice as an artist. ‘Single Black Femelle’ allowed me to experiment with my sound through a story of envy, emotional irresponsibility and the many faces of false friendship. Musically, I played with rhythm and texture, and I rap and ‘chat’ (Jamaican rapping) for the first time in my music.

Stream “Single Black Femelle” below, ‘Sin City – The Mixtape’ is set to drop June 3rd.
