A sack race between the head and the heart. The verses tell a story of using Christianity to nurse an emotional trauma, while the choruses unveil your true obsession – a long-distance relationship. There is a push-and-pull between scattered and colloquial verses and explicit choruses. “If you’ve got a hole inside, you better fill it up with Jesus Christ” is a real advice I once received.
