PREMIERE: Asbury Park’s Yawn Mower Debuts “Shed Is Old”

There’s a whole lot of shaking going down in the newly revived music scene in Asbury Park, with fuzz-pop duo Yawn Mower out consistently slinging some righteous tunes with a sense of humor. Comprised of Mike Chick (guitar, vox) and Biff Swenson (drums, vox) the band dropped their first EP of originals last year, and are wasting little time in following up.

On March 11th, Yawn Mower will release the What’s All This New Piss? EP with GroundSounds premiering the closing cut, “Shed Is Old,” today. On the track, Mike and Biff hit the road and work up a rebel rousing rock ode to those rickety old shacks you can’t believe are still standing somehow. With an instantly catchy and chantable chorus, a ripping closing solo and some honky tonk cowbell, “Shed Is Old” is a fun, good old-fashioned rock romp.

Stream Yawn Mower’s “Shed Is Old” below and catch them on March 11th at their record release show at The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ.
