With pop-sensibility and soulful vibes, Massachusetts based singer-songwriter Jack Vandervelde has been making moves. He recently wrapped up an extensive UK radio tour a has been writing with top Grammy songwriters to get ready for his next EP. The laid-back crooner recently dropped the fresh new track “Trouble.”
Jack had this to say about his latest single:
“Trouble takes me back to 19. It was the first time I had been away from home. I found myself spending a lot of time with a girl and we got along very well. However, I quickly realized this was potential trouble and my instincts kicked in. That is where the hook comes from, “I’ve been around this trouble before”. I knew what I was getting myself into and it didn’t last long. Sometimes you have to burn bridges in order for it to work, even if it doesn’t feel like that.”
