PREMIERE: Panic In Eden Takes Aim With Their New Video For “War on the Rocks”

When it comes to embracing the styles of the mightiest of classic rock heroes, there are plenty of bands out there in 2017 who would likely be better off just hitting the karaoke bar. Not so for LA-based band Panic In Eden who bring righteous riffs, bold rhythms, and a swamp-rock swagger with strong messages for our current, unprecedented political climate.

Last Fall, the quintet released their debut full-length, the prescient In The Company of Vultures, roughly one week before Cheeto Dust Man was elected. Today, GroundSounds is happy to host the exclusive premiere of the video for fake-news-busting cut “War on the Rocks.”

The band shares:

“‘War on the Rocks’ draws a parallel to what I see going on in America and around the world. The generations that lived through the first two World Wars are dying off and with them is the collective memory of fascism and dictatorships. Is my generation doomed to make the same mistakes?

If we, as Americans, continue to get our news through social media we are only reading, are we simply consuming viewpoints that we already agree with. It’s time to wake up and stop staring at our screens.”
