We are so excited to introduce you to La Rabla, an incredible Psych/Rock band from Santiago, Chile. Our good friends at New Los Angeles are releasing their new self-titled debut album on limited edition virgin vinyl, with cover illustration by Claudio Rousselon. There are only 300, so you’re going to want to hustle if you want to own this special piece of work. Stream their new single below and check out what they recently told us about their new music:

“Jarana in Spanish-Chilean means a big and strong party. The song makes reference to that moment of the day where nothing else matters besides having a good time with your people, surfing the night with no plan. Musically speaking, the song has a strong influence from our Chilean andino rock from the 70’s.

The album is based on jam sessions and improvisations. It was a fast and creative time that gave us nine themes, recorded live in a low fi production setting. This is our way of expressing our poetry and we draw a lot from our experiences in life.

Our plans for the rest of 2017 are to get out and play as many shows we can. Our idea is to make a tour around Chile and South America, trying to play mostly outside of Santiago. We want to record our second album too, we have it ready to roll.”
