Gabriel Releases New Album ‘Love Lives Here’

By SHARON JENNINGS

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Gabriel has released a brand-new pop-Americana album called Love Lives Here. It’s a collection of songs that blend upbeat tempo tunes with smooth vocals and great melodies.

“Music has always been about self-reflection, my experiences, my hopes and dreams,” Gabriel said.  “I come from a turbulent background of family, historical unrest and social expectations. To those who have and those who have not, the separation that the world tries to engrain into us is great.”

The album release follows his single, “Baby It’s You,” which dropped last month. Love Lives Here is available via Bandcamp for purchase.

Gabriel blends a vocal style similar to Roy Orbison with a fun throwback pop sound like that of Tommy Stinson. His style is Americana and he’s proud of his Latino heritage.

New Music in a Mexican-Americana Style

Gabriel is a singer-songwriter who matches catchy tunes with fun lyrics. He has a love for rock n roll and Americana and he travels the country discovering inspiring subjects for his songs.

Gabriel’s passion in life is the guitar and he works with a variety of causes for kids as well as families in need. He understands how tough it is to make it in today’s world, especially if you come from a challenging background.

“I think there’s too much darkness in this world and I want to have fun with music,” Gabriel said. “I want to keep it fresh but not forget where I came from and also looking to where I’m going.”

Love Lives Here was produced by Loren Molinare and was engineered by Patrick Burkholder at Pawn Shop Studios.
