California pop/new wave/prog/tropical/psych sensation EV Kain got their start way back to a dim 80s-themed karaoke bar in San Francisco’s Japantown, many moons ago. Within a year the trio recorded and released their first single and video and made their live debut at the SF Noise Pop Festival. They’ve since played shows at the request of Tera Melos, TTNG, Cedric Bixler-Zavala’s solo project Zavalaz, RX Bandits, The Thermals, Marnie Stern, Maps & Atlases and many more. They also quickly came to the attention of punk rock bass legend Mike Watt who invited them to join him on a split 7”.

The trio is ready to unleash new music on the world and we are excited to premiere the new track “Overpour” below! The song is groovy and fun, with a big hook and guitars that’ll be stuck in your brain for days. Enjoy!

In their own words:

“Overpour” is a simultaneous celebration and lament of the hella fun evening before spent tippling to the tipping point, with hair-of-the-dog harmonies painted over a coffee-fueled garagey riff worthy of the dopest garage in all of Jay Leno’s spread.
