Swedish folk-pop duo Next Stop: Horizon (Pär Hagström and Jenny Roos) are gearing up to perform at SXSW this year, they’ll debut new music as well as introduce U.S. audiences to their carefully crafted baroque-pop.
Premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is their hypnotic track “Do It Anyway,” they had this to say about their latest single:
“Do it Anyway is the second single taken from the forthcoming Next Stop: Horizon album. This song is a hopeful tune from dystopia. It’s a rare piece of music that paints pictures of cold city nights in a world that trembles, and holds its breath on the verge of disaster. Somehow there’s a ray of hope and light cutting through the dark, and leaves the listener warm at heart. May we call it electro-gospel? It was inspired by a poem by Mother Teresa with the same name.”
Stream “Do It Anyway” below and check back for more on Next Stop: Horizon soon.
