With bio-soul, progressive pop and alternative r&b sounds, LA based duo (In)Body (Ryan Amador, Daniel Weidlein) are gearing up for the release of their forthcoming debut album ‘Becom(in)g.’ Featured on the project and premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the fresh new track “Lions.” With chill and ethereal vibes “Lions” is pure sonic goodness with a positive message.
The guys had this to say about their latest single:
“Lions” is a song about overcoming physical oppression. It’s a harsh reality, but people face these aggressors everyday: those who think they can control what a person chooses to do with their bodies or push someone to sleep with them, it’s really terrible. We wanted to write from the perspective of the victim finding their power from within against the “lions” who lose control. This song is a reminder that we all have the power inside of us to stand our ground.
