St. Louis-based hip hop/soul fusion band iLLPHONiCS recently celebrated their 10th year as a collective, with the release of their 5th studio album ‘Gone With the Trends.’ Featured on the project was the cool-tempo track “What D’Ya Like,” the accompanying video is now premiering exclusively on GroundSounds.
Lead emcee Larry Morris had this to say about the bands latest single:
“The song touches on the topic of “vice.” In this day in age it feels as if we glorify bad habits and celebrate over indulgence. It’s rare that we weigh the downfalls until it’s usually far too late. No ones immune as we all have our vices rather big or small but or you in control of yours or it in control of you? If you had to give it up could you?
