While it may be strange to admit this, the pandemic gave the blossoming friendship between prolific Montréal bassist, Mishka Stein, and innovative producer, Samuel Woywitka, a chance to develop and time to explore, leading the duo to write and record their first album.
The result is FHANG – their self-titled debut album out now on Woywitka’s newly created Hidden Ship label.
Focus track, “Many Moons,” featuring LA duo TiRon & Ayomari, creates a warm groove through rhapsodic and euphoric experimental hip hop.
