Interview: Nova Scotia’s JupiterReign Drops “All Mine,” a Dreamy and Honest Exploration of Toxic Love

A moody, soul-infused R&B confession, “All Mine” is the latest release from Nova Scotia’s JupiterReign – a rising star known for her velvety vocals, magnetic presence, and fearless emotional honesty.

Blending vulnerability with sensuality, the track captures the turmoil of a love that’s as painful as it is passionate. It will feature on JupiterReign‘s debut album, Jupiter‘s Dreams, set for release on June 13th, 2025.

Written in collaboration with Montreal R&B artist RoyyalT, “All Mine” explores the complexity of holding onto a relationship that no longer serves you – even when you know better. Set against a lush, trap-soul soundscape, the song’s slow-burning intensity is paired with lyrics that reflect raw self-awareness and longing.

1. What did you enjoy most about the recording process of this new release?
The most enjoyable part about recording this song was that I had the opportunity to co-write and record it with my best friend RoyyalT (Alyssa Walton), another amazing RnB artist from Montreal. I spent a couple days in the city with her and we had the chance to create together, and I got to record this record at her home studio.
2. Share a nugget of advice that has resonated with you most over the years.
The advice I’ve received over the years that has really resonated with me was simply “Keep Going”. I just think there’s so much in those two words because its just never a bad idea to strive and push ourselves passed whay we think we can accomplish.
3. Who would be your dream artist/band to co-headline a tour with?
My dream artist to Co Headline a tour would definitely be SZA! I mean what else needs to be said? Her writing, her vibe, I really connect with her honesty and emotion.
4. What sets your music apart from others in your genre?
Well I really pride myself on my vocal range and finding new flows and deliveries to express myself.
5. Tell us what your favourite song is at the moment and why.
My favorite song right now is Do You Ever by Alex Vaughn.

I got to write this one with my best friend, RoyyalT, who’s not just an amazing artist, but one of my favourite writers. We weren’t trying to make a hit – we just wanted to tell the truth. The track came out of a real place, and that honesty is what makes it special.

Sometimes it feels like nothing good can come out of these types of relationships – but as artists, it’s our job to take life and turn it into something meaningful. Through music, we can help others see that they’re not alone in their struggles – whether it’s with love, life, or anything else. This song is my way of saying: I see you, I’ve been there, and we’re gonna get through it. – JupiterReign
