Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Ashe makes her Atlantic Records debut with “Stop The Wedding!,” a bold new single accompanied by an official video directed by Silken Weinberg. This marks the start of a new chapter for Ashe the track finds her delivering her signature emotional candor with a sharper, more fearless edge.
“Stop The Wedding!” was produced by Noah Conrad (Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan) and written by Ashe, Conrad, and Annika Bennett (ROLE MODEL, Conan Gray). Blending classic pop theatrics with modern emotional urgency, the track moves through dramatic tempo shifts, layered vocal arrangements, and sweeping strings.
The inspiration struck Ashe in perhaps the most unexpected place: her own wedding day. Last year, while marrying fellow musician John Clark Canada at a ceremony just outside Nashville, Ashe found herself dreaming up the song that would become “Stop The Wedding!” check it out below!
