With the release of her fresh new track “It’s You”, Lucifena is rewriting the rules of rock. As Young Money’s first female rock signee, the Los Angeles-born artist is now rockin’ with none other than Lil Wayne, who recognized her singular ability to blur the lines between heavy music, hip-hop, and pop.
Long before stepping into her solo spotlight, Lucifena cut her teeth in the underground post-hardcore scene with the band You Only Live Once, touring and bringing a high-energy sound to stages including Warped Tour. When YOLO disbanded in 2018, she transformed that momentum into a solo career alongside producer Morgothbeatz, helping pioneer a boundary-pushing strain of trap metal.
Now entering a new chapter with Young Money and Lil Wayne, Lucifena is gearing up for her debut album ‘WARZONE’, which embraces an expansive palette of shoegaze, hardcore, alternative rock, and beyond. The result is the making of an artist who refuses to stay in one lane—and is poised to make her upcoming album feel less like a title and more like a statement.
