Boosie Badazz & C-Murder Release New Collab Album, ‘Hood Stories’

Boosie Badazz and C-Murder are bringing two corners of Louisiana hip-hop together on Hood Stories, a 15-track album due that reunites the former cell mates-turned-longtime friends.

The collaboration links Baton Rouge rapper Boosie with New Orleans’ C-Murder. It also marks their first full-length project together. Their respective catalogs have chronicled survival, loyalty, loss, and life across Louisiana communities.

Hood Stories carries added resonance through C-Murder’s return to new music. The New Orleans rapper helped define the No Limit Records era. His work remains tied to the label’s lasting influence on Southern hip-hop.

Boosie built his reputation in Baton Rouge through blunt storytelling and emotionally charged street anthems. C-Murder developed his voice in New Orleans’ Third Ward. Together, they represent distinct chapters of Louisiana rap history.

The album’s title suggests an unfiltered look at those experiences. Its songs explore relationships, violence, grief and resilience. The tracklist includes “Begging Me Please,” “We Gon Be Alright” and “Won’t Fall 4 Anything.”
