The rising R&B sensation and on-screen standout has linked with fellow Chi-Town native G Herbo for “Work Dat (Remix),” out now via Epic Records. With the original already setting the tone earlier this summer, Papa Jay is turning the temperature up with a fresh remix that brings Chicago flavor straight to the club.
G Herbo steps into the mix with a hard-hitting verse, adding his signature edge to Papa Jay’s infectious R&B sound. It’s a natural hometown connection that brings two different lanes together while keeping the energy locked in from start to finish. Built for late-night rotations, packed dance floors, and speakers turned all the way up, “Work Dat (Remix)” is ready to make its presence felt.

But this link-up is about more than just a club record. Rooted in Chicago’s culture and inspired by the city’s iconic jookin’ movement, the remix puts local flavor front and center. Papa Jay continues to show he can move between sounds, bringing his own personality and versatility to the R&B scene while connecting with one of the city’s most recognizable rap voices.
With G Herbo adding extra pressure and Papa Jay pushing the track into a new gear, “Work Dat (Remix)” is Chicago energy in full effect. The hometown connection is official, the vibe is undeniable, and the function just got a new anthem. Press play and let it ride.
