Wu-Tang meets Seoul, and a hip-hop classic gets a whole new mission. Wu-Tang Clan is bringing its legendary sound into the gaming world once again, reimagining the iconic track “C.R.E.A.M.” for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 with an all-star lineup of Korean hip-hop talent. The remix dropped October 16 via Epic Records, putting a fresh spin on one of rap’s most recognizable anthems.
Produced by Wu-Tang mastermind RZA alongside Martin Wave, the new version features LEE YOUNGJI, E SENS, and Jay Park, delivering verses in both Korean and English. The international link-up connects Wu-Tang’s legendary legacy with Korea’s thriving hip-hop scene, bringing new energy to a track that has resonated across generations.
RZA had this to say about the track:
“This song is special to me because it brought our group to new heights worldwide, reimagining it in a new language with the incredible talent of LEE YOUNGJI, E-Sens and Jay Park gives the track a fresh perspective. It is incredible to hear the message resonate with a new generation of rappers from the other side of the globe.”
The collaboration also ties directly into the game’s Korean setting. The original “C.R.E.A.M.” appears in the opening cinematic, while the remix plays during the end credits, bringing the track’s themes of ambition, struggle, and rising above adversity into the Modern Warfare 4 experience. For RZA, the remix is an opportunity to let a timeless record speak to a new generation through a different language and perspective. It’s a cross-cultural connection that brings together hip-hop history, global talent, and gaming culture in one powerful collaboration.
Wu-Tang legacy. Korean hip-hop firepower. One iconic anthem reloaded. “C.R.E.A.M. (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Remix)” is out now on streaming platforms.
