LA based songstress Marissa Jack (aka The Golden Hippie) has just released her debut EP Flowers On The Sun via Hundred Handed, it’s a soul-and-funk tinged modern pop EP with commanding vocals. Marissa also performed each song off of the EP with her full band to document the live experience! GroundSounds has the exclusive premiere of the live in studio performance of “Human Animal,” check it out above.
The Golden Hippie is truly weaving a golden dream of free-spirited lyrics and contagious melodies. She’s currently putting the final touches on her full-length debut, to be released in 2015.
