Aaron Alem (better known by the stage name Keffa) is a Canadian singer, rapper, producer, and songwriter from Toronto, ON. In April 2019, Keffa released “Disconnect,” the first single off his Victimless Crimes EP (out 5/29), and the followup single, “Try Harder,” last December.
His latest single “Rock You” shimmers with atmospheric production, reminiscent of The Weeknd’s trilogy of mixtapes released at the beginning of the last decade. Keffa’s commanding vocals set it apart though, creating a captivating aura around his personality.
Inspired by a long series of failed relationships and an appreciation for the mundane and melancholy moments, Victimless Crimes makes light of heartbreak without trying to doll it up.
