The Killers’ Brandon Flowers returns with “Tiger’s Blood,” the latest single from his forthcoming solo album THRASHER, due August 21, 2026 via Island Records.
An anthemic meditation on nostalgia, loss, and the passage of time, “Tiger’s Blood” finds Flowers looking squarely at what it means to grow older without letting go of the fire that shaped him. Following previously released singles “Plans”and “Paradise,” the track offers another revealing glimpse into THRASHER—Flowers’ most personal solo record yet.
THRASHER marks Brandon Flowers’ first solo album in more than a decade. Recorded in Nashville with longtime collaborators Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado, the album brings together an extraordinary cast of Music City players, including longtime Gillian Welch collaborator David Rawlings on guitar, renowned pedal-steel player Bruce Bouton, and legendary 85-year-old harmonica virtuoso Charlie McCoy, whose unmistakable playing appears across all four of Bob Dylan’s iconic Nashville records.
Grounded in Flowers’ childhood memories of growing up in the small town of Nephi, Utah, THRASHER embraces a timeless, roots-driven sound that gives his most intimate and vulnerable songwriting room to breathe. The result is a deeply personal record that looks backward without getting stuck there—turning formative memories, loss, and the passage of time into something enduring.
