Surrounded by the breathtaking red rock landscapes of southeastern Utah, the Moab Folk Festival brings an intimate, community-focused celebration of folk, Americana, roots, and bluegrass to one of the country’s most striking settings.
Organized by the nonprofit Friends of the Moab Folk Festival, the annual gathering features live performances across the city, with evening sets at historic Star Hall and daytime music taking over Moab City Ballpark. Beyond the stages, festivalgoers can explore local artisan vendors, grab food from area favorites, and take part in free workshops designed to bring the community even closer together.
More than a weekend of music, the festival is built around connection—using live performance, education, and environmental awareness to celebrate both the culture and natural beauty of Moab.
With intimate shows, roots-driven sounds, and towering red rock formations serving as the backdrop, Moab Folk Festival delivers a one-of-a-kind experience where community, music, and the outdoors come together.
