With Beatles-esque melodies and three-part vocal harmonies, Detroit based five-piece Handgrenades are making moves as they gear up for the release of their second full-length LP ‘Tunnels.’ The forthcoming album is expected to drop November 4th, featured on the project and premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the fresh new track “Suffocating.”

Frontman Andrew Pawelski had this to say about the bands latest track:

“‘Suffocating’ is about anxiety. The feeling of being suffocated or drowning from all of the pressures of life. It was one of the first songs written for the album. Nick’s original demo only had the organ chords and an electronic drum beat until the band got a hold of it, and most of the instruments in the middle eight section of the some were improvised in the studio.”

Stream “Suffocating” below, pre-order ‘Tunnels’ here and check back for more on Handgrenades soon.
