We’re super excited to premiere some fresh music from Brooklyn-based Indie/Americana Singer/Songwriter Caleb Cladry. Caleb has worked/written with Zach Williams from The Lone Bellow, Jonny Aherne from The Temper Trap, and more. Needless to say, he’s been honing his craft for quite some time. The new single “True Original” hooked us right from the start and therefore it’s up to us to make sure he’s on your radar ahead of the release of his debut album Invincible Things, out on October 13th. The new single is a a perfect combination of bright acoustic guitars, smooth electric guitar licks, and steady percussion that drives the whole song. Add in some harmonica and some light piano, and of course his passionate vocals, and you’ve got a road-trip ready track. Here’s what he had to say about the new project coming out:
“These songs have been spots to put a lot of the unresolved mixture of stuff that comes with people dying, or moving, or seeing your work change shape after 10 years, or confusion at how our country got where it is, or being generationally downstream from some real pain and dysfunction while still being somewhere upstream from where it all ends.”
