I’m super excited to share the fresh new single “Get Back In” from my good friend and talented songwriter KOL, a.k.a Jeff Kolhede. I’ve known Jeff for just about an entire decade now and I’ve always been impressed with his skills not only as a musician and songwriter, but also as a producer, engineer, and composer. While he’s normally behind the scenes helping other artists with their projects, this time around he’s back in the spotlight, ready to share his own sounds, too, with the release his first single after many years. Influenced by a number of genres from psych rock, trip-hop, and alternative r&b, “Get Back In” reveals a raw and emotional side of KOL. The track has a really nice vibe, set with ethereal synth pads, lo-fi beats, and a lovely melody. In many ways both lyrically and musically, “Get Back In” conveys acknowledgement and a growth in one’s imperfections. Check out the single below!
