Blitz//Berlin is a group of Canadian film composers based in Los Angeles known for their unique and genre-bending scores. The band has composed the critically acclaimed ambient horror soundtrack to The Void, re-imagined the Top Gun theme for the latest Top Gun: Maverick trailer, and most recently scored the new horror-comedy PG: Psycho Goreman – released on digital streaming services on January 22.
PG: Psycho Goreman is garnering critical acclaim as a “delirious, disgusting and delightfully dark concoction” (Globe & Mail). The film is a love letter to the late 80s and early 90s, which is reflected in Blitz//Berlin’s score.
A standout among the soundtrack is “Two Hands, One Heart” which is featured in the film’s viral final trailer. The song is an homage to the classic montage rock songs of the 1980s featuring the vocals of heavy metal icon Rody Walker (Protest The Hero).
