The songs haven’t stopped flowing ever since Waxahachie, TX native Trevor Brooks headed to Nashville. The country crooner has been hard at work and his first batch of songs will be released on his debut EP, Lonely At Its Finest, set for release on July 21st. Premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the second single from his forthcoming project “Drive By.”
Trevor had this to say about this latest track:
“‘Drive By’ details a complicated friendship with a girl I had feelings for, who continually wanted me to meet (and approve of) the guys she was seeing. She knew I had feelings for her, as did everyone around us, but I never came right out and admitted to them. I finally got the courage to go talk to her about my feelings, but when I got to her house, her new guy was already inside. So I kept driving.”
