Global superstar Becky G plays her hand on her own terms with BARAJA BENDITA, her fifth studio album and most personal artistic statement to date. Released via RCA Records, the 17-track collection puts Becky firmly in the driver’s seat, showcasing her creative vision, distinctive sound, and story through an unapologetically personal lens.
At the heart of the album is “CHULA,” a vibrant celebration of a word deeply woven into Latin culture. More than a term of endearment, “chula” becomes a declaration of confidence, beauty, attitude, and unapologetic baddie energy—capturing the spirit of a woman who knows exactly who she is.
With no guest features, BARAJA BENDITA is entirely Becky’s hand. Every track reflects her creative instincts, personal experiences, and evolving perspective, creating a world that belongs unmistakably to her. Instead of introducing another version of Becky G, the album brings them all together—the vulnerable and the fearless, the spontaneous and the intentional. The result is a deeply personal body of work about embracing every card you’ve been dealt and playing the hand entirely your own way.
“BARAJA BENDITA is about trusting myself enough to stop choosing between different parts of who I am,” says Becky G. “For so long, people wanted to define me by one thing: one language, one sound, one version of myself. This album isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about fully owning every part of who I’ve always been.”
