Best Coast – “Our Deal”

Best Coast may be known for their soundtrack to the summer of 2010 but we here at Groudsounds haven’t forgotten about Bethany Consentino’s sun-dazed low-fi cali-pop. Either has Drew Barrymore (yes, that Drew Barrymore). The always cute, but ever-aging Barrymore and Best Coast have debuted Our Deal,  one part “ironic” young pop-star appearances, one part “timeless, yet unplaceable.” This video centers around the Daytrotters and the Night Creepers in an Outsiders meets The Warriors meets Romeo and Juliet in the sewers of the LA river. Cliche but cute, this video is good for a go. Warning for Best Coast purists: you’ll more than likely throw-up in your mouth a little bit when you see Miranda Cosgrove of iCarly and Tyler Posey of Teen Wolf fame although this is nothing new with Best Coast (see Converse collab with Kid Cudi) , so just get over it and enjoy:)…
