Today, we’re really excited to premiere the new remix from Damon Steele as part of the second installment of the Spectrums Compilation series from Los Angeles label LAMP. The series focuses primarily on artists who are re-envisioning some of their favorite music, exploring the genres that inspire them, and pushing the boundaries of their creativity with sounds. In this case, Damon has picked up the stellar single “Til It’s Over” from Anderon .Paak. “Never underestimate the power of great artwork to inspire you. When I first heard ‘Til It’s Over it was the night it came out in Spike Jonze’s Welcome Homevideo for Apple. I was so blown away by the level of creativity in the video and the music that I sat down and began working on the remix immediately after watching it. After a two-day bender in the studio, the remix was finished and I was so happy with the final result.”
