PREMIERE: Bencoolen Bring Blues & Soul With “Roll On”

Hailing out of Washington, D.C., Bencoolen creates a “maximalist” rock n’ roll sound as a 5-piece, melding blues and soul throughout their distinct sound. Today, the band releases the latest single – “Roll On” – from their coming record Daydream (out March 8th) and promises to play one hell of a show tomorrow at Piano’s located in Manhattan’s trendy Lower East Side. Tickets are still available.

“Roll On” is reminiscent of an early Kings of Leon – al la Because Of The Time, circa 2007 – adding their own flair with a tasteful injection of saxophone which harmonizes nicely with lead vocalist Paul Gregg’s howling vocals.

Preorder for Daydream starts tomorrow here. Singles “Remember” and “Roll On” will be available everywhere digitally tomorrow as well.

Catch the band on tour at one of their many upcoming dates listed below.
