Scott Chasolen Can Even Make Yearning and Pain Melodic On Album ‘Living in Limbo’

By SHARON JENNINGS

Renowned session musician master of the Pink Floyd sound, Scott Chasolen takes a departure and becomes introspective with the new album Living In Limbo.

Even through a bout of sadness, Chasolen writes seamlessly about the pain, taking the songs to a new level that give the listener something to think about.

Chasolen doesn’t cover up the reason for his creation, he lost a relationship and as we all know, the pain can sometimes be intollerable. It’s a combination of grief and sadness, but the music tells the whole story here.

Chasolen, who is sought after in the studio and also has a successful Pink Floyd tribute band called The Machine, is getting his mind around the fact that he’s entering a new phase.

His music is a truly unique blend of folk, rock and jazz, but it’s the lyrics that capture the imagination.
