‘Siren’ Video by Resurrection Fern is Good But It’s the Song that Lures Listeners

By SHARON JENNINGS

Resurrection Fern has created a beautiful video for her new song “Siren,” but while the visuals are great, the song is what lures listeners.

She has created her own business and if other musicians could be as innovative, the music business would be in good shape.

Her latest release is a perfect example of talent blended with business smarts.

The song is an alluring composition, and if this is what Odysseus heard when he was out at sea, no wonder he was tempted by the women in mythology.

Resurrection Fern’s voice is the strength of her work here, running the range from low to high octaves with remarkable control and style.

The singer-songwriter has taken her music to the new technology platforms. Her live performances are a hit on Twitch.tv. Her latest video was created on her iPhone with a new animation app.

For the last three years, Fern’s channel, twitch.tv/resurrectionfern, has been a place where she interacts with friends and performs her music. But in addition to making money to make albums, she raises money for charity through her channel.

On a recent night she was working on the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation charity.

Ressurection Fern has friends and fans who tune in to Twitch to watch Fern, who seems genuinely interested in her following, which she calls the “FernFam.”

Watch Fern live on her Twitch channel and it’s a good experience to check out her group.

It’s because of her follwers that Fern was able to record her second album at the renowned Station West studio in Nashville. The album was the second that she crowdfunded.
