For the second episode of Ground Vision we are looking into three artists submitted new music to us and their music video. These artists are submission within the month of January
First we have Brittany Rose with her new song “Anyone Else”, it’s a pop song with rock and funk influences in it. From Binghamton, NY Brittany is a Vocalist, Producer, and Songwriter. In this video we see her talent as an artist directing “QuaranVisual” which is a fun way to say she’s resourceful! During these interesting times of Covid she finds a way to still produce a music video and bring visuals to light. Primarily shots of Brittany singing in her video as well as DESTROYING a pomegranate. She brings a fun visual of almost a party feel which plays part into how her song is about being at a party and trying to get them all for yourself.
Pallmer (Emily Kennedy & Mark Kleyn) is a string duo with their new song “Bricks”. In the music video we start off with a single shot done between the two and circling around them slowly emphasizing on an almost intimate feeling. Showing the chemistry and teamwork these two can come with. Directed by Sarah Kierstead
Burry is our first lyric video for ground vision. They are a dyslexic non-binary artist who brings us “Figs & Apricots” in the lyric video the video was animated by Becca Rowan we and get a visual of someone watching TV with images displayed on the screen along with the lyrics. The video uses a lot of fruit imagery but going along with the song gives it a very fun and energetic feel to it.
