Daniel Kang Puts Out New Single With ‘Paranoia’

From South Korea, Daniel Kang has dropped his new single, ‘Paranoia’. The song takes you on an emotional roller coaster as you get a mix of Korean and English Lyrics. Done brilliantly, and mixes both languages in and out to help describe the emotions of the song.

The music video itself is showing a fight with himself, as Kang is playing both parts and is shown bleeding from the neck at the end. The choreographed dance goes along well with the theme and beat of the song. It also helped show the struggles that are being felt by Kang, and the fight that he is having with himself. All the emotions are received from this video with each scene, and finished off with him by himself in his room.

‘Paranoia’ is what Daniel described as his ‘darkest inner self’. Kang’s agency Konnect Entertainment went on to say “Kang expresses the pain, struggles, and sorrows he has personally experienced. Some keywords specific to Kang are laid down throughout the song.” Kang has started the three-part “Color” series with his first mini-album “CYAN,” released in March last year. “MAGENTA” was the second of the series, which was only six months ago in September. With ‘Paranoia’ being the teaser for the third part of the series, we wonder how long, “soon” is with Kang not setting a date for the release.

Daniel Kang said this when talking to ABS-CBN News,“This new song ‘Paranoia’ is a song created by taking out the darkest part of my inner self that was hidden. The more you listen, the more diverse and new emotions you will be able to feel. Most of all, the song is really addictive, and the performance and choreography are really attractive to match the theme of the song,”
