New Holiday Jam From JAGMAC With ‘Wrapped Up”

With the Holidays beginning and we move closer to the end of the year, those holiday songs come with it! JAGMAC has come prepared for the holidays with their new song, ‘Wrapped Up’. Consisting of six, the band is made complete of all siblings. Yes, all six are siblings, and the music video in ‘Wrapped Up’ shows old clippings from past Christmas’ with all of them growing up and unwrapping presents. The song itself is talking about wanting that significant other to get ‘Wrapped up’ with you. That one present that we are all looking for, a nice evening bundled up with our significant other to have a relaxing evening without thinking about the daily life tasks and struggles.

The JAGMAC band started in 2014 and came up with a special way for the name. The name comes from the first initial of its members’ names from youngest to oldest: Jared, Angelique, Gabriel, Manjo, Alyssa and CJ. Pretty cool slight shoutout to each of the siblings that gives a special bond within the crew, I imagine. I love having the same initial to begin my name as my siblings. Has to be pretty cool to share that with each other as they go and perform more and more.

Since forming the band in 2014, one performance after another paved the way for JAGMAC’s quiet rise independently. Their 2016 single “Soldiers” reached #1 on Billboard’s Breakout Chart for Dance Club Songs, peaked at #15 on the Dance Club Songs Chart, and #5 on the Commercial Pop Chart. In 2018, JAGMAC released their debut EP featuring title track “Right Back With You” which shot to #6 on the Commercial Pop Top 30 in the UK and #3 on the Upfront CLUB Top 30 UK. That same year, the band was crowned Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing placing them in good company with alumni such as Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Alessia Cara, and Why Don’t We. Safe to say they are on the rise and here to stay.
