Independent recording artist 42 Rae talks with GroundSounds correspondent Donnell about her experience in the industry as a ghostwriter and marketing manager. Her skills in the music industry started at a young age.
“I started off listening to Lil Bow Wow and Romeo”
She says. Listening and watching them growing up inspired her to create her own musical journey. After graduating from St Johns University in Queens, New York, Rae decided to take her music carrier to the next stage. Buying production equipment, and writing music was momentum she used to spring her forward. After releasing her single ‘Swayin’ in 2021, Rae has plans to collaberate more with different artist, continue to create new content for her fans, and release new music for 2022.
