New Jersey based soulful pop-rock duo Nalani & Sarina have been on the move with their latest EP Scattered World. With raw emotion the sisters (yes they are identical twins) show off their skills with guitar, piano and ukulele. Premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the Treuhand remix of their featured song “Get Away”.
Nalani & Sarina had this to say about the fresh new remix:
“Get Away” (The Mirrored Fade Mix) is the reworking of one of our favorite tracks off our EP, ‘Scattered World’. Treuhand (otherwise known as Howie Beno and Brandt Gassman) are huge supporters of our music and old friends of our engineer/co-producer, Julian Herzfeld. They approached us with the idea of doing a remix of the song with an EDM feel. Since our tastes run more towards pop/rock/soul, we were somewhat skeptical. Imagine our surprise when they sent the remix and we loved it. Treuhand combined classic club/remix elements while maintaining the original vibe of the song. This is something we would’ve never done on our own, but we were glad with how it turned out!
