With claw-hammer banjo riffs, layered ambient synth, and lush vocals, Canadian based folk-rock band Shred Kelly, are gearing up for the release of their highly lauded album, Sing to the Night, which will be released in the U.S. on February 19th. Featured on the project and premiering exclusively on GroundSounds is the fresh new track “Going Sideways.”
The band had this to say about their latest single:
“Going Sideways features a cello banjo and shows a softer side of Shred Kelly. This song is about being trapped in relationship that you know is over, but not being able to fix it, or bring yourself to end it.”
Stream “Going Sideways” below and grab a copy of Sing to the Night on Feb. 19th!
