Pop-soul sensation Jaron Strom is trying to change the world through his love of music. The Charlotte based artist recently dropped his fresh new single “Truth,” and now his fresh new accompanying video is premiering exclusively on GroundSounds. The heavy-hitting song is about being trapped in a manipulative relationship and breaking free.
Jaron had this to say about his latest single:
This song/video is meant to convey the Truth behind many relationships where the grass is not greener on the other side. It’s based on a couple where the girl puts on a facade in public around friends of being the pretty and sweet girl who treats the guy great. But in reality, behind closed doors, she manipulates and treats him horribly with no voice in the relationship and nowhere to turn. This is his moment to possibly break free and tell everybody his Truth. Does he get out of the situation or not? The video is meant to leave you hanging. The warehouse scenes are dark and almost like she’s haunting his dreams. This is a gritty emotional song based on true events of a close friend going through a divorce.”
