New York artist Armond Jason is gearing up to release his debut album The Gold Album: Signature this Spring. Today we’re excited to premiere his new track “Good Guy.” Said to draw influences from Prince, Linkin Park, and Jay Z – this immediately drew our interest. The new track does not disappoint. It’s different, engaging, and flat out interesting. The word “interesting” in our world is a good one. It’s a refreshing feeling to hear a new song and not instantly be able to slap a genre on it, with 5 similar songs for reference. “Good Guy” embodies a fresh sound and what it means to be interesting in today’s musical landscape.

In his own words:

“‘Good Guy’ was written to have a double meaning. First, it means that girls will leave a guy they say is too good for them to end up with a guy that treats them bad. Second girls will date a guy who acts good but ends up being the complete opposite.”
