Highbeams, the Atlanta based folk rock harmonic trio, have lit up stages across the southeast with their emotive, high-energy performances and rich three part harmonies. The trio of brothers and best friends, consisting of Ian Pendlington, Adam Pendlington, and Stephen Quinn feature singer-songwriter Jennifer Barger on their newest track and in their forthcoming video for “Campfires.” Their soothing harmonious vocals are intertwined, while an acoustic guitar trails, tangled alongside an energetic beat. It’s a song that reminds you that love isn’t always easy.

Musically, those who enjoy The Head and the Heart, The Avett Brothers and Dawes might cling to this track, with each having influenced the song in some form or another.

Today we are thrilled they have chosen GroundSounds to premiere “Campfires” – (both the song and video!) streaming below. The track is everything you’d want a song called “Campfires” to be. It’s a beautiful composition, with sing-a-long harmonies and gorgeous layers to it. Let us know what you think!

In their own words:

“Campfires will hopefully be received as an uplifting song, a reminder that while nothing lasts forever, or maybe even because nothing lasts forever, every moment we experience matters. Every relationship, however brief, has meaning. Closing out our tenth year as a band with this song feels right. We’re savoring every crazy moment we get. “  -Ian Pendlington
