Glass Mansions, led by the charismatic, sultry voice of Jayna Doyle, is an Altpop duo from South Carolina, influenced by modern and 90s pop, heavy synths and tight, dance-friendly rhythms. They’ve been turning heads with the lead-off singles from their new Ep Ritual and we are thrilled to premiere the new video for “Landmines.”  The video’s intense atmosphere perfectly captures the addicting, and quite frankly ass-kicking vibe of the track.

For this video, we wanted to switch things up and prove that you can make a badass DIY music video on a zero budget. We shot and edited this ourselves over the course of a week! The song has a dangerous and sultry vibe and is essentially about flirting with the enemy, so we wanted to visually represent that with sensual, intimate shots of Jayna juxtaposed with manic, wide angle shots of Blake. We played with scale and contrast lighting to parallel the jarring nature behind the song’s meaning and lyrics.
