Canadian based group Lovecoast, brings a modern indie pop and blue-eyed feel to Canada’s music scene. Lovecoast gains inspiration from legends such as Billie Holiday and Bruce Springsteen. The group was formed back in 2013, and ever since then they have been growing and growing.
Premiering exclusively on Groundsounds is the music video “Sticks and Stones” from their most recent album The Trip. The music video for “Sticks and Stones” portrays the internal emotions of a hard breakup, but shown in a very aggressive way. Lead singer Danielle Sweeney had this to say about the music video.
“The music video for ‘Sticks & Stones’ represents a lot of the internal emotions of a breakup, but fully expressed externally – by breaking absolutely everything! And I got to destroy an entire house, which was a ridiculous amount of fun…when you watch the video you might see me enjoying it even a little too much.”
