Indie-folk artist Jordie Lane recently moved from Melbourne to LA to Nashville, and has crafted his new album, out September 7th. His upcoming release, GLASSELLLAND, combines the desert Tropicalia influences of his homeland with the modern Southwestern folk of his new home. Today we’re thrilled to premiere the new track “America, Won’t You Make My Dreams Come True.” The track showcases his unique voice and bigtime songwriting ability. It’s the perfect track to turn up loud while driving along the California coast at sunset.

Jordie on recording the album in LA and the Hollywood sign:

“It was like a visual mantra that said: ‘Your dreams are endless!’ But the difference was it was not all glossy and fake Hollywood. It was a mundane, regular working class, real, gritty neighborhood reminding me of Thornbury, the neighborhood I grew up in.”
